No Knead Raisin Walnut Bread

Ingredients

  • 6 c all-purpose flour
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 2 t active dry yeast
  • 1 T honey
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 2 t salt
  • 1 c raisins
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 c cool water
  • Directions

    1. In a large bowl, whisk 6 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, and salt.
    2. Stir in raisins and walnuts.
    3. Add honey and water… do not knead (may need more flour to make a moist, shaggy dough).
    4. Over and let rise in a cool place until doubled, for 7-8 hours.
    5. Once Dough Has Doubled….
    6. Preheat oven to 450.
    7. Place empty Dutch oven into stove for 20 minutes to heat thoroughly.
    8. Roll dough pout onto a floured surface and form into a round ball using scraper.
    9. Place on parchment paper and place parchment paper into Dutch oven.
    10. Make a long slice in the top of dough.
    11. Cover and place in oven for 30 minutes.
    12. Remove cover and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes (until bread sounds hollow). Can lightly cover if bread is getting too brown.
